About Me

Meet the Teacher

My name is Leandra Stromberg. I’m so thrilled to continue to be working here at Mountain View but in a different capacity!

This is my 9th year teaching. I have taught 8 years in education with a 1 year stint in 2nd grade. This year I am teaching Reading Help, Grades K-2, and Resource Grades 1 and 3.

Here’sa little about me:

I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I am the 3rd of 4 children. My siblings’ names are Melissa, Breanne and Jeff. I LOVE them! When I graduated High School, I moved to Provo to go to Brigham Young University (BYU). I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and I am now dual licensed and able to teach Elementary Education Grades 1-8 and Special Education Grades K-12! I am currently attending Southern Utah University (SUU) to get my Master’s Degree in Education, with my emphasis in Special Education. My predicted graduation date is this Spring 2017- Go Eagles!

I live with 3 LIVELY dogs who keep me on my toes.

My oldest is Jackson. He is 8 and was born on Valentine’s Day. He is truly my dog of love.

Presley is 4. She thinks she is the queen! Jackson and Presley are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Lastly, Blaze is my 2 year old Rottweiler. He is quite the puppy and is always causing mischief around the house.

I am so excited to be working with so many students. This is going to be a magical year!
