Years of teaching experience: I taught Pre K in Salt Lake District from 2008-2011 I then began teaching here at Mountain View in 2011. I have taught Kindergarten, First grade, and Third grade.
Credentials (endorsements, degrees, etc.): I graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I obtained my teaching license through the Alternative Routes to Licensure program. I also have an ESL endorsement.
Family: I have two fur babies (cats) Isabella Rose and Johnsie. I am the youngest of four children, I have two sisters and one brother.
Hobbies: I enjoy making cakes in my spare time. I also enjoy going fishing, camping and hunting with my family.
Favorite summer memory: Staying with my grandma for a couple weeks in Arizona during my summer vacation when I was younger. My cousin and I would go rollerblading at the park, swimming and cause all kinds of chaos in my grandma’s senior community where she lived. During that time I spent with my grandma I learned how to do so many things by watching her. I would love to watch her hands work as she made tortillas... I also loved to eat them. :)
